Britons who missed out on tickets in the official London 2012 ticket draw have until 11pm tonight to register on a French website selling tickets on a first come, first served basis.
The French authorised re-seller Eventeam closes its ticket registration this evening. There is no geographical restrictions on who can buy the tickets, even though they have come from the French IOC allocation.

Hotel company Holiday Inn has announced it will give away 10 pairs of Olympics and Paralympics tickets to randomly selected guests.
Taking its lead from Willy Wonka, the firm is offering guests checking into selected Holiday Inn or Holiday Inn Express hotels across the UK the chance to pocket tickets for top London 2012 events, including the 200 metre and 800 metre men’s finals.
Spokesman Chris Hale said: “As part of our partnership, we want to give our guests the chance to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity.”
Perhaps since the official ticket sales have been done via a lottery competition, these sort of giveaways should be first come, first served for the London Games!
